Lecture Summary 10 - and the course evaluation

The final Lecture it was more in regard with a recap with few MCQ s we had like 18 questions, we have also discussed the answers so its no point mentioning them here as a task. We discussed about the final essay and how to go about it and we have indeed seen a boring unrealistic piece of French movie that for sure points few important things such as how people used to think during those times in reagrd to applications of technology. Maybe in the next forty years Matrix would be looked upon as the same.

Finally the course comes to an end I would like to comment on some of the things that I have experienced in this course as well as an evaluation of how the course was delivered to me.

Evaluation of my experience with this course

Explaining Aims and Objectives

Adam was amazing in explaining stuff that had to do with how we need to get through the course what was important and where to concentrate more.
I could get everything from one lecture and I was on the right track.

Teaching skill
Adam is very fast on what he wants to say, that makes us skip a lot of bulk that he is teaching in the lectures. It even makes the lectures more boring but it is when we actually raise a topic in the tutorials we get to know what he actually meant by certain things.

Teacher's capacity to motivate
Excellent motivation, the Lecture notes went offline we actually did not even needed to look at them because it was plain concepts that we need to be in there to get the stuff. Attendance was crucial. I downloaded open source office in my laptop.

Concern for students and their learning
Ha Ha I cannot comment on this it was a very short time and we needed things to go very fast. I could see that he disabled the lecture notes to make people show up in his lectures though.

Commitment to the use of feedback
Amazing feedback on what we do in the tutorial and general conversations. It was more a chit chat feed back than official paper of how he is going to correct the paper.

Assessment Requirements
Very easy to understand and easy to do

Focus on learning
Very wild not so accurate because we could not get most of the information in more depth it was very fast. Well again this course would be so slow for a 13 week course.

Teaching coherence
Amazing, one thing led to other in a perfect match. It helped me to think on lots of topics that were related to this.

OverallThis course is a perfect summer course subject and It would have been great if it was more advanced and stuff was too easy to make us more lazy but again I am a third semester BIT student so it is acceptable for me to feel this way to handle a first year subject after facing so much pressure with other subjects. I would grade this subject as a nice relaxed discussion about technology and their effects than more an academeic kind of subject. I enjoyed the overall experience. Thanks a lot for giving me an opportunity to sit in the Air conditioning in this hot summer. Hope we meet again cheers...
